As well as the air display and classic cars, there are many other attractions: Commercial and military vehicles, large and small steam engines, fair organs, a fun fair, re-enactments, plus entertainment and exhibitors. There is a 10 entry fee per vehicle, which entitles you to attend both days Some of our members are considering going both days and camping overnight. I've just received the brochure for this year and our 2009 cars are featured on it.  Contact Roy Biddle (01702 218197) After the event all are invited back to John & Linda Deed's (nr. Sunday September 5th RSPCA Gala Day at Great Ayton Animal Centre Nr. Middlesborough. Olivia Newell-Hatcher (nee Newell) now works at this small RSPCA facility and would dearly love to copy the Millbrook centre and have a Classic Car presence at their Gala Open Day. She has a good display site for 6 classic cars, which do not have to be Panthers. If anyone is interested in supporting her in her fund raising efforts please email her on
September 8th - 13th  (10)

Note the date has been changed to avoid a possible clash with the RSPCA day and a definite clash with the special PCC Grand Gathering which some of our members wish to attend.

This year we will be returning to Lyons-en-Foret. The hotel and area was very good and there are many places in the vicinity that we haven't visited, including Rouen and Gerberoy and I'm sure everyone would be up for another round or two of cider and crepes at the farm.
We will rendezvous on the 8th at Hotel L'Escalle near Calais and drive to Lyons-en-Foret on the 9th. The return journey will be on Monday 13th. 12 rooms will be reserved at both hotels. Lyons-en-Foret  is about 150 miles from Calais and we should arrive there at lunch time.  Half board per couple per  day is 120 euros for a double room and 146 euros per day for a twin room. A single room is 88 euros. Contact Roy Biddle (01702 218197). Places are taken up quickly so don't delay.
