Essex Area
Easton Farm Park Classic Car Show
On the 15th June 5 Essex area cars travelled up to an event in Suffolk that was brought to our attention whilst we at the Enfield Pageant. The event was organised by the East Anglian Practical Classics and was at the pleasant Easton Farm Park. The weather was absolutely glorious and the well organised event with two arenas had enough going on to interest all. It was a great old English summer fete with whole families enjoying a day out in the sunshine. In the arenas there were, demonstrations of Camargue horses, gymnastics on horse back, race horses, motorcycle stunt riding, synchronised kite flying (more interesting than it sounds), Morris dancing and a pack of hounds. Overhead the was a display of stunt flying and helicopter rides were available from the next field. Jazz bands and the normal attractions of Easton Farm Park added to the enjoyment. There was so much going on there was hardly time to view the hundreds of classic cars.
Joining us at the event were George & Shelagh (of course), Malcom Askew and friend, and Kevin and Jill who travelled all the way down from Nottingham - well done!
