PCC's 30th Anniversary Grand Gathering
At the Brooklands Museum
4th & 5th September 2010
The PCC held their special 30th anniversary Grand Gathering at the Brooklands Museum over the weekend of 4th and 5th of September and extended an invitation to the PEC to join them. It was a very successful day, and was blessed with good weather and 90 cars. I haven't seen that many cars at a Panther event for many years. It was good to see. It was also great to once again be in contact with Panther owners we haven't seen for what seems like an age.
Of course a full write up and pictures will appear in the PCC's magazine and web, but I don't think they will mind me including a couple of pictures of the event.
This picture shows the general line up of the cars, with the Devilles J72's and Limas occupying the space immediately in front of the main museum building and the rest being taken up by Kallistas
We were all allowed 2 runs up the test hill with strict instructions however, No Wheel spinning!!
This picture shows Malcolm Jones' Kallista being hammered up the hill.
Likewise Alec Bradshaw didn't spare his automatic Kallista
Sorry folks if I didn't take a picture of your attempt, I had to go and get my Kalli in the queue.
A very enjoyable and full day, I didn't even get time to look around the museum. Fortunately I've been before.
A big thank you goes to the committee of the PCC for inviting us and letting us enjoy their 30th Anniversary with them.
